After heated discussion, careful deliberation and months of planning, we decided to take the plunge and finally move our palm tree. There were compelling arguments on both sides, and yes, passions flared. Some shouting, some tears and, as is so common in well-reasoned debates, a few threats. In the end, we transported the tree from the front window to the side, made all requisite apologies and enrolled in all applicable 12-step programs to deal with all pertinent addictions and fits of blind rage.
Oh yeah, and we knocked down half a wall in the studio.

We did some work for the Boys & Girls Club of Newark’s “Turning the Tables on Violence” program. But as cool as we made these posters look, can anything do this awesome program justice? Kids work with a professional DJ to learn how to spin and mix music on both vinyl and CD, and the program ends with a “Battle of the DJs.” Remember when after-school programs were just sports?

You know those movies involving those possibly well-intentioned, possibly mad scientists that derive some serum that’s supposed to make them bigger and stronger and they decide to test it on themselves and at first it seems to work great but then they keep growing and growing and realize they can’t reverse the process until they reach monster-like proportions and lose control of their minds and have to be destroyed by the government who then stages an elaborate cover-up so the public never knows the extent of the horrors of science and governmental complicity in sinister experiments?
Neither do we. But we feel a bit like that hypothetical movie scientist, except for the parts about the monsterism and the evil and the murder. What we’re trying to say is we’re growing bigger and stronger. Remember when we welcomed Noelle to the team? Apparently we left the door open, and in snuck Scott Farbman. Scott is our new Director of Web Development, which is a fancy way of saying he’s an inventor. Want a computer to do something it’s never done before? No problem. See the ticker on the top of this page that tells you exactly what we’re listening to in the studio? That’s his handiwork. He’ll be taking the lead as we build more and more websites. And know when our crazy ideas are awesome or the other way around.
And that’s not all. We’re also welcoming to the team (drum roll please): Anna Bennett! “But Tritonic,” our dedicated fans say, “she’s been with you guys for months already.” Well, yes. But she came to us from a temp agency and now we finally stole her away for good. Having her permanently was just too temp-ting to resist! Oh jeez, we are so sorry for saying that.
