The Hub Vol. 3 - Tritonic

We love The Hub. Newark Now’s quarterly newsletter is always one of our favorite projects, and it’s our honor and pleasure to help tell the world about all the good that comes from this amazing organization. We would go on, but anyone who’s seen this site knows all about our Newark Now crush. And if you want to learn more about them, don’t take our word for it, visit the site! Or volunteer!

Lincoln Park Music Festival Brings the Awesome

July 24th, 2009

We get lots of enjoyment from the Lincoln Park Music Festival. First, we did their print design, their advertising design and their web design, so it’s nice to see our stuff around Newark. Mostly, though, it’s fun because we can see it out the window. Our designs always bring us some joy, but how often do they bring us barbeque sauce stains and confused strangers coming to the studio to ask us about vendor permitting? Not very.

If you’re in Newark this weekend, check it out! Tomorrow is House Music and Sunday is Hip-Hop, including early ‘90s and Heineken commercial favorite Biz Markie! And if you’re lucky, you can see a Newark landmark: 421 Halsey St. — the Tritonic studio! We won’t be there, but you can look through the window. At our closed window shades. Authentic Tritonic window shades.

Boys and Girls Club Annual Report

July 3rd, 2009

Hey print design enthusiasts and annual-reportophiles: today is your day. The Tritonic-designed Boys and Girls Club of Newark ’07 Annual has arrived, the report so annual you need an extra year just to mentally prepare for it.

It looks hot. Bright, summery colors, a layered accordion fold that makes a stair-step effect, and plenty of great pictures of the kids. Combine all that with the details about their amazing programming and you get a piece worth getting excited about. We can’t wait to find out what they did in 2008. In 2010.
